I saw those windows at a home show demo. They are pretty cool.

I also saw some PV shingle replacements. Instead of roof shingles, your roof is covered with an array of durable solar panels. The down side is each one needs to be wired from the attic, and you need an expensive battery pack and inverter to supply the house. Also, you have to keep your roof clean or you lose efficiency. Also all PVs have a limited life span. Essentially, you would have to buy a new system before you recoup cost in electrical bill savings. So, there’s still some economic issues with them.
