What they’re pissed off about is the spectacle. They can say it’s the lying, but that’s clearly self-serving bullshit. By political sex scandal standards Weiner probably fessed up in world record time, Clinton, Vitter, Ensign, and Craig all clung to their lies for much longer. Hell, to this day I don’t think Clinton believes he did lie, with his contortionist definition of “sexual relations.” That’s the kind of never ending weaseling crap that makes me think he deserved to be convicted on impeachment, in comparison Weiner is a paragon of honesty and personal integrity.
