It deserves to be interesting. They have over reached and now must face the music.

I am amused by all the RWNJs losing their shit on Twitter and on teh intertubez. They really thought that Obama was bluffing and that he would’ve caved by now, or that the Dems would find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Seeing a united front against their extortion and against all the House GOP flailing has all the wingers freaking out right now.

Oh, and it’s raining in Austin like a cow pissing on a flat rock. Over 4” on the south side of town. Sadly, none to the west where we need it. Drought breaking rain needs to fill the reservoirs, not head to the gulf.

It’s coming down pretty hard here on the East side.

I had friends at ACL tonight. Now they’re all trying to get home, and they’re on bikes, since they figured that riding their bike would be more convenient than driving or taking the bus. They didn’t count on having to get home in a downpour. I don’t envy them.
