Hateful racist troll, yes. But I don’t think homophobic. Pence yes, but Trump? Do you really think he actually cares about these issues? I doubt that he has any personal animosity toward gays or transgendered; Pence and Trump’s base may, but Trump himself? OTOH, the couple may become disillusioned if they discover that the Trump tax cut actually increases their taxes.

I’ve had this discussion before in regards to George Wallace and segregation, I firmly believe anyone who uses homophobic rhetoric or is at least indifferent to it in his rise to power is no different from the person who is a true believer like Pence. And Trump while maybe not as hostile to gays as Pence is also transphobic.
