I know it was a Cletus safari article, but what you’re saying reminds me of that Daily Beast or Politico article about the Lake of the Ozarks vacation site where everyone was like “Fuck it and fuck you if I spread COVID and kill you.”

It was always there if you looked, but I really think COVID has exposed just how fucking shitty and selfish a lot of Americans are. Like, it’s their default mode.

I appreciate the American individualist spirit, but a lot of people neglect the aspect of personal and social responsibility that comes with it.
