Can you really sue for copyright infringement on an image though? I agree it’s crass but unless they’re trying to profit from the image or create “abortion barbie” dolls then I don’t see how Mattel would have a case. Libel and slander is hard to prove. From what I understand Beck is arguing that his calling that Saudi kid the Boston bomber is because the kid was in his words a public figure.

Why wouldn’t it be a trademark violation?
