TSA workers remaining at their posts is the main reason government shutdowns keep happening. If those workers stopped working and all airline traffic came to a halt into and out of this country the shutdown would end in 5 minutes with a complete capitulation by the Republicans. And no shutdown would ever happen again if it was guaranteed they would stop working.

That’s the problem, they can’t strike en masse. But at the rate we’re going, they may as well say “fuck it” and walk off entirely.
