If this story is on the level, then yeah, the guy shouldn’t have been fired. However, it will not surprise me to later find out the employee is leaving out a key piece of info to the story.

As for gun owners feeling persecuted: blame the NRA for that one. They’re the ones who promote the whole “OMG THEY’VE OUTLAWED THE 2ND AMENDMENT” idiocy. More so since Teh Scary Black Manz got elected.

I wonder what happens when a vegan employer fires a waiter for beef at home. No serious logical difference.
