I remember my folks in Houston bringing their own bottle and buying a mixed drink setup and club membership in one fee.

when my family went to ski trips in Utah, there was one state-owned liquor store in town and the bottles were airline-sized. And a limited number of restaurants where you were allowed to bring that with you and buy a mixed-drink setup.
