There’s approximately $60 trillion in privately held wealth in the country.

1/3 of it is held by the richest 1%.

If we were to go full-bore socialist and simply seize 90% of what the wealthiest 1% owns, they and their offspring would still have enough to live very comfortably their entire lives without ever working another day, and we could pay off the entire national debt and cover next year’s deficit.
