I’m guessing the shade of William McKinley up there in the LH corner (pointing bewilderedly at Uncle Sam) is meant to connect his assassination with immigration somehow (?): even though the anarchist who shot him, Leon Czolgosz was, in fact: a US citizen . Though he’d probably be dismissed as an “anchor baby” by today’s GOP….

I particularly noticed McKinley throwing a gang sign…
