It says the bio father knew he was the father all along, but only recently sued. Seems like there should be some statute of limitation on parental rights— if you know you’re the parent but never chose to be one (and you don’t have a good reason, like being in a coma or something) why should you get to demand access to the child out of the blue like that? After years?

The question has to be asked - why did this come out of the blue all of a sudden for this guy after so many years? i would be very suspicious of the motives; perhaps (or maybe even most likely), motives for this had nothing at all to do with anything good for the child.
