He’s so brilliant as Sideshow Bob. Not sure how long he’s been right wing but he was a great parody of a wingnut when Bob ran for Mayor.

And while he may have set some kind of record for playing Fraser Crane for close to two decades, he has range. I mean compare the pompous ass (to say the least) he plays in Pentagon Wars to the much more free wheeling sub commander in Down Parascope.
