I started telling people who asked me for numbers that I had lost count years ago just like I stopped counting jumps at 500. Last person who asked me turned a sickly shade of green and wouldn’t get within 20 or 30 feet of me if he could avoid it. I assume he assumed I was inferring a kill count in the 500 plus range.
