I don’t think it is a factor and we have to deal with China as it is. It grew during both Democratic and Republican administrations. I don’t see where Republicans have slowed scientific research.

I’m talking about the current day. You don’t think that the GOP’s opposition to the scientific fact of climate change, the restrictions on stem cell funding, and their desire for creationism to be taught in schools impacts scientific research?
