The problem with that is that to reward pressure tactics like sit-ins gets you more of them. Also, the House has limited time in session and bringing bills to the floor that are destined to die there is now seldom done.

Already asked but if this is such a waste of time, then what on earth were the multiple ACA repeals? I’ll tell you why I think you’re pissed by this tactic. You don’t like your party being exposed for caring more what the NRA wants than what the majority of the American people including the majority of American gun owners want to be done. That’s what this is.
