That sucks, glad you’re getting it taken care of finally. My warranty coverage on my Subaru windshield went without a hitch (got a cracked windshield that was covered under a TSB). You could write a letter in to Subaru (not the dealer, but the company) and see what kind of satisfaction you get.
It’s been such a mess. We’ve actually had recall notices issued later fixed already, but this one was apparently a backlog for parts?
I probably will write a letter because it’s had a serious impact on our opinion of Subaru as a whole, despite the fact that we really like the Outbacks. (This is his second.)
