“Wow. It just keeps happening and cops keep getting away with it.”

GA law enforcement officials killed a white guy in his home here in Paulding County GA yesterday. Their story is that they went there to serve a narcotics warrant, burst into the home, descended the stairs to the basement where Danny Hammett was standing with a “black object” in his hand. They asked no questions and began shooting. After they got to where Mr. Hammett was lying injured, they told the media he had a stun gun. His son has accused them of killing an innocent man. Clyde Hammett said there was no weapon in his dad’s house, and that law enforcement officials didn’t find any kind of weapon in his dad’s hand or near him when they went into the basement. Also, there were no drugs anywhere on the premises. There was a similar incident to this one that occurred in a town about 30 miles from where I live a few years ago. Cops got a “tip” from an informant, busted into a guy’s house, saw him holding a weapon and shot him dead. It turns out the informant had a beef with the homeowner who was a building contractor. Police officers searched the house, found no drugs, and none of them were held responsible for his death. They all walked, including the chief of police who was a part of the “drug raid.” This guy was white, too. I”m sick of out-of-control, fear-filled, trigger-happy law enforcement officers killing our citizens and never being held responsible for doing it. I believe in law and order, but I also believe in prosecuting and convicting cops who kill when they don’t have to.
