A few years back, my best friend’s co-worker committed suicide in my best friend’s office. Job stress, etc.

So my friend (our friendship was just budding at the time) he called me and asked me to come over to sit with him and “talk about death and stuff”.

He met me at the door (visibly upset) and I said, “Man. He needed that job like he needed a hole in the head.”

He said, “THAT’S WHY INVITED YOU! YOU’RE AN ASSHOLE!”

He knew I would approach the thing with black humor, and that’s why he called me.
