Good to know. I’ve been making clean copies anyway before I upload. (Now you all know why my filenames say “copy” in them.)

It helps me keep track of what I’ve posted too, since I generally do it right before.

Yes - uploaded images are processed through the Linux “jpegtran” tool, to strip out metadata and all other unnecessary headers, and also to convert them to “progressive” jpg format to make them as small as possible without losing any image data.
