Because with no access to computers, they had no access to the information that persuaded all of us NOT to go to Trump.

They get Fox, they get Sinclair stations, they get talk radio, there’s maybe a local newspaper that’s either part of a mega-corp chain or owned by the richest guy within 500 miles… and that’s it. That’s all they have to base their views on. GIGO.
