I’m not even sure I completely understand this unmasking horseshit.

The NSA was running surveillance on some Russians, which they’re allowed to, and recorded them talking to an American, who has to be “masked” (transcripts show him as “American #1” or something like that). There is a legal process for “unmasking” people who seem to be doing really bad shit.
