I am trying to get a handle on the basis for the suit. Is Churchill saying that his being terminated due to misrepresentation of his credentials violated his free speech it misrepresent his credentials?

No. He’s claiming he was fired because of his politics.

He doesn’t think his qualifications or academic misconduct are relevant.
