What’s bizarre is the way that they keep trying to blame the Democrats, even when their supporters are cheering on a shutdown.

They’ve made it abundantly clear what they won’t compromise on— the ‘riders’, which are the things defunding Planned Parenthood, NPR, etc. etc. All the petty-ass, meanspirited, cultural shit is what they won’t compromise on. They’re not even trying to hide that that is what this is about.
