I am a big fan and will try to get to as many games as I can - and it doesn’t matter if they’re the majors, minors, or independents. A game is a game - and what’s better on a warm summer evening than watching baseball unfold.

And minor league parks are where some of the most fun games are to be had - nice family crowds, great scenery, and affordable to boot.

My wife actually got me addicted to baseball. My first baseball game was at the old Komiskey Park, now U.S. Cellular Field, in Chicago. I was much less interested in it at the time, but it was still an alright experience. The difference between that and the Metrodome, however, was night and day. That’s when I knew I was a goner.
