That anybody believes this shit, no matter how desperate they are to feel ‘good’, is well beyond my understanding. Ignorance of reality I guess.
As for your anxiety attacks, the only thing I found outside of meds that helped me was bio-feedback and relaxation training, both of which just try to train your body to force muscle relaxation when anxiety starts. Meditation is somewhat similar.
Takes a lot of work and you have to keep up with it.
Yoga breathing is a wonderful thing. My son has also found it helpful.
