I don’t have kids. When I watched NOVA’s program on pregnancy and child birth I had nightmares for weeks. My ex boyfriend used to tease me about getting out the jaws of life to get my legs untangled from child birth photos.

I and my many siblings were born via c section. My wackiest sister, when she was pursuing her psychology degree, was told she could get in touch with her earliest self by watching one being performed. Now she’s had two herself. I watched one on TV. Fortunately I’m not too squeamish, but oh boy, did I gain new respect for Mom. And only one of Mom’s 3 daughters has kids.
