Well all righty then! If it means so much to some business owners to be able to refuse service (I’m lookin’ at you, Indiana.) then only fair thing to do is issue permits for them to do so. Considering that public infrastructure is what brings the business to them they need to pay something for the privilege of excluding some of those who paid for that infrastructure. I’d say that 10% of their monthly gross, payable monthly for the permit, would be a nice start.
