It’s the industry standard, if you can refer to politicking as an ‘industry’. Everyone uses them. Everyone has used them for decades. The president of the United States kind of needs them for his work.

Right. It’s not like they’re going to spend a whole week memorizing a speech. They’re deluded as usual and seething with rage about Obama.
