I thought I would mention to you that our prices at the restaurant for vegetables have skyrocketed. Some veggies that were $17 a box are now $52 a box. Their excuse is a freeze in Mexico. We are working on our menu to raise prices this weekend.

I’ve noticed over the past month a significant rise in my food bills. I don’t pay attention to specific prices but I generally buy the same things all the time and know the general total amount I pay at checkout. It’s been shocking a couple of times to the point that I’ve gone over my receipts to see if I was double charged on things. One average my total bills are about 10 to 15 dollars more then they were a few months ago.

I do know a few specific things that have gone up. Dogfood has gone up over two dollars a bag and chicken feed has gone up over three dollars a bag.
