Anybody know who said the following?

If you said “The winning Republican candidate for the Chicago-area 9th Congressional District”, pat yourself on the back.

Remember, in any race between Republicans, the odds always favor the crazier one.

If you watch that video interview of the candidates, Williams appears to be doing all he can to not roll his eyes at every statement. I can imagine him getting the results yesterday and going “Holy shit…I lost to her?

The thing is, Republicans might have been able to make some hay with Williams — he seemed bright and articulate, and was a former Obama supporter who, for one reason or another, was left disenchanted by Obama and is now off the bandwagon.

But instead, Republicans chose the lunatic. Who would have guessed?
