I asked this several days ago. Some suggested prep work for Fashion Week in Milan. I’ve got nothing that makes better sense, unless there was an industrial contingent from Wuhan visiting Milan in mid-january.

Another possibility is no reason — somewhere had to be first. (Or second after China.)
