I’m not trying to act as the thought police. My intention is to allow an exchange of ideas. A kook like that guy just wants to turn the meeting into a screaming match. Given the clear intent demonstrated by the sign, i think the decision to exclude can be defended. I want speech and debate, and to arrest the man for simply having the sign would have been wrong. Does that position satisfy you?

btw - I understand there is an outright ban on signs at many town halls.
