The hypocrisy there is gigantic. It’s a program that reduces infant mortality. It is also, therefore, a program that reduces stillbirths and spontaneous abortions, since the risk factors for infant mortality and low birth rate are pretty much the same.

So they want to outlaw rational abortion, but are fine with an increase in infant mortality and spontaneous abortions.

It’s not hypocrisy in their minds, because for them infant mortality and spontaneous abortions are “God’s will.”
