Oh for fuck’s sake. Don’t be layweristic. They are not lethal force in the same way shooting a guy is, and you know it. Give me a break.

Any use of force is potentially lethal. Shooting a guy is different from kicking him in the head while you’re lying on the ground— it’s not exactly the best leverage point, your’e not going to get that much force in it.

I don’t think that shooting someone in response to getting beat on is an okay response— especially if you had anything to do with that fight getting started. Because having that trump card is a dangerous goddamn thing— the “Well, if this goes south, I can always shoot the guy” is going to be in that guy’s head.
