That is “Java” by Al Hirt.

In the late 80s, there used to be a ridiculous show on MTV (shocking, I realize) called “Dance Party USA”. It consisted entirely of footage of Beautiful People gyrating and wiggling to the hip and happening tunes of the day.

My BFF and I used to smoke Cheech and Chong amounts of weed and watch Dance Party USA with the sound muted, and with music of our own chosing playing instead. Al Hirt’s “Java” was one of the more serendipitously hilarious choices.
