I think the videos of the “grieving” are all the evidence people need to understand how horrific the NK regime actually is. Can you imagine the power and level of fear the state holds over those people to make them act for the cameras like that? Absolutely incredible.

The regime has a massive psychological and emotional hold on the people. I’m sure a few are “playing along.” One also has to consider that all of this took place in Pyongyang which is inhabited by hand picked party loyalists. Sort of like Germany’s Berlin during the 3rd Reich perhaps?
