Yes, I’d care to comment: His actions, if not illegal (I think the judge ruled incorrectly), should have been illegal: ‘Stand Your Ground’ means just that. It does not confer the right to pursue a fleeing criminal, that right being reserved to law enforcement.

Does the fact that learned professional prosecutors and judges are getting it wrong according to you strike you as a flaw in their understanding of how the law is written or is it possible that the law itself is intrinsically flawed? The error in your reasoning is that you’re arguing according to the title of a piece of legislation, when the title itself has absolutely zero bearing on the actual wording of the statue.
