Misdirection? Remember when Clinton signed the Kyoto Treaty even though it was voted down by the senate 99-0. He did it so he could point to a meaningless act as a symbol of his intent? I do not know what Obama’s though processes are on this matter. But, if he is doing this because it’s the right thing to do, that is one thing. If he is doing it as a calculated political maneuver, he will have confirmed my suspicions about him.
