I hear ya… no grass is ever as green as the baseball diamonds at the MLB parks - and walking into Yankee Stadium for the first time (the old one) was a real eye opener. Can’t wait to make the trip to see Wrigley and Fenway - the stadiums from a bygone era.

The new Yankee Stadium is great in its own right, and the Great Hall is truly amazing to see, but it doesn’t quite have the feel of the old place across the street. At least not yet.

Citifield is much better now than when it first opened - though they’ve still got some things to work out (like the grammar on some of their hall of fame displays - caught problems in their description of Shea Stadium for instance). And how is it that the team can’t find pristine copies of its annual yearbooks; some of those look like the dog ate them.
