I think there are a lot of folks who take their American birthrights for granted. They fail to understand just how blessed they were to have been born in this country, and thus they don’t appreciate the blood that was shed to keep the Republic. If you don’t appreciate what you have, you can’t appreciate the cost.

There are too many places in the world where thinking for yourself and speaking your mind will land you in prison, or get you killed. Thank God I don’t live there, and thank God for the men who died that this land would remain free.
