Since you brought up the topic of creepy commercials…

I keep seeing one of girls on a beach with a small video camera. It shows how cool the camera is when one girl is taking video of her friends and catches this rotund guy behind them with headphones dancing around. She exclaims “this is SO going on the web!”

I don’t think this is an OK thing. It’s permission - even an advertising point - that you can take footage of anyone at anytime and publish it on the web without someone’s knowledge or consent. One might argue that the guy didn’t have any “expectation of privacy” being on a public beach, but that is far from being published worldwide without consent.

It creeps me out.

One reason I don’t go to the nude beach any longer, although if my husband knew he was being filmed, he’d probably stand up and swing it around. Maybe it’s a guy thing :p
