I’m not offended. I actually understand your point. I’ve been worried about America turning fascist because some of our population gets too big for itself and starts to want to control too much. I’ve had that thought since Ronnie Reagan in 1980.

The fear of ‘others’ is the match that can start that fire that has been kindled for a long time. We have never been closer.

I made the comment because you didn’t need “allow us” in your comment. In a way it hurts your point. Passion is enough.

This board is passionate. And we have talked about it. We have been stumped why he has the polling and followers he has. It is right there staring at us. People are happy that Clinton did well last night. Maybe you read that as being a little too assured it is in the bag. I do not believe many here think that way, if any at all.

Plus we have many members that are every bit as cautionary as you are being. Maybe you haven’t caught it because you have not been following along.

13% vs. 37% actually does make it harder to tip over into fascism, though. That extra 24% is not going to go to Trump in any shape or form. Can’t be complacent, but the driving force for Brexit has a steeper uphill climb in America.
