Exactly - the cause is being whipped up by bigots. Emotionally vulnerable people are being sucked in to a bigotted issue - as well as the terminally stoopid.

Even if the useful idiots and rubes who show up to these rallies aren’t bigots themselves, but rather people who are being emotionally manipulated, that’s still just as bad. They’re giving the bigots legitimacy and cover. They’re letting their memories of their loved ones be used this way by people who just hate all Muslims and don’t distinguish between the assholes who flew the planes into the WTC and everyday American Muslims. That’s wrong. Period.
