My 2 cents on the election:

Looks like Trump has been defeated but Trumpism is still with us. Do not forget that he got more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016.

The next Fascist they put up might not be so narcissistic and inept.

The thing is that… they sort of have to be (every bit as narcissistic and inept I mean).

Running fascist candidates the way they have is like an athlete taking steroids. Yeah they might temporarily juice your muscles (turnout) but they get your base addicted to them. I don’t think the GOP base is ever going to accept a candidate who won’t scream the quiet part out loud ever again.

Barring a major sea change/civil war, whoever wins the 2024 GOP Primary will have to be an open Q supporter or whatever brand alphabet soup craziness they’ve come up with by then (I hope it’s X because X sounds so much more awesome).

TLDR: Why vote for a cold clinical schemer like O’Brien when could support some obnoxious loon to own the libs instead?
