Turned out the caller didn’t even live in the neighborhood and when she saw Gates trying to break into his own home she

1) mentioned the possibility that it might’ve been the house’s lawful resident trying to get back in after losing the housekey and

2) didn’t even bring up race until the dispatcher asked for a description of the two men- to which she replied one of them was ‘maybe hispanic’…
