I hadn’t heard about the mumps outbreak at OSU. That’s seriously frightening news. It’s an amazing scientific observation how a small minority and cause such a huge and expansive problem. These anti-vaxers are indeed a “cancer”. Their defect by not getting vaccines is allowing the disease to propagate. Although these viruses are pretty stable genetically, our worst nightmare is they acquire a key mutation that renders our current vaccines useless. World War Z in the making….

Anti-vaxxers are part of the lunatic fringe of both parties, which makes them especially problematic since any politician who goes after them risks the damaging charge of being part of the corrupt political establishment and a Washington Insider.
