Nope, and they get really pissed if you try. I gave up years ago. If the attendant is busy or just slow you have to wait. I’ve always wondered if there’s some sort of penalty or jail time for an act of civil disobedience by pumping your own gas.

I’ve always wondered why OR and NJ persist in keeping that regulation. I mean, I get that gasoline can be a dangerous substance, but the other 48 states - and most of the rest of the world - seem to get along just fine without blowing themselves or anyone else up.
