I very much doubt this. The idea that the president is above the law is not one that even a bunch of originalists are going to support, because they would most definitely find nothing in favor of it in the Federalist or elsewhere. The president cannot pardon himself for crimes. He also cannot resign and let Pence be president for a day in order to pardon him, because that would be quid pro quo, and is definitely a crime.
