A long time ago, I decided to quit smoking. I set my date and began reading this book. I thought if I got pissed-off enough, it would help.

It didn’t.

After reading about 1/2 thru, nothing about the tobacco industry will suprise me.

They had the ingredients for the “soma” tablet and fucked-it up for short-term profits. Nicotine, in and of itself, is not a bag drug. It’s the delivery system that sucks. And it is considered a “delivery system”. Smokers have been targeted and the product deliberately made to be as addictive as possible under the guise of “enhancing the smoking experience”.

Well, now, I’m off to WALK to the store for my next supply.

Zedushka smokes and he knows I hate it. He is banned from smoking in the house so he has made himself a “homeless guy’s camp” in the garage where my new car lives. I have caught him sneaking cigarettes in the bathroom. He thinks that if he keeps the window open that I won’t notice.

And he also drinks gallons of Coca Cola even though he is a diabetic.

I don’t know what to do to keep him from offing himself with cigarettes and soda. Telling him that it’s bad for his health just pisses him off.
